A major renewal of IT infrastructure is helping a North of England local authority deliver much more effective and cost efficient information technology to its staff. North Tyneside Council is replacing traditional PCs and laptops with Wyse thin clients that are easier to manage and maintain, and are contributing to a much more productive working environment.

The council represents a large metropolitan borough of over 190,000 people and is bordered by Newcastle upon Tyne to the West, the river Tyne to the South and the Northumberland to the North.
