SAN JOSE, Calif. – 28/01/2008 - Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced the availability of Wyse TCX Virtualizer(TM) -- a breakthrough software solution that enables users to connect and use USB devices in a virtualized desktop environment as easily as a traditional PC. As a result, Wyse thin client users can now access hundreds of USB 1.1/2.0 devices including printers, scanners, storage devices, Palm(R), BlackBerry(TM), Apple(R), and Microsoft(R) Pocket PC hand helds over a Citrix(R) XenDesktop or VMware(R) Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.

Wyse TCX Virtualizer consists of server and client software components that work together to enable USB devices within a virtualized desktop environment.
